About Project

Thinking About Adulthood is a virtual workshop, held over Zoom, to explore topics relating to becoming an adult. Sometimes called "transitioning to adulthood".

The sessions will run monthly and will be driven by what young people want to know.

Topics will be set by the young people that access the service but ideas we have had so far are:

-Careers, further education, and options after school.
-Duties and responsibilities of being an adult- including voting, involvement in society
-Staying safe online, in the "real world", and when socialising.
-Relationships- including friendships, recognising negative relationships, and people taking advantage.

These sessions are designed to cover things that young people don't always learn in school but they think are important to know.
