About Project

We are offering ten organisations a programme of support to help deliver peer research with the young people they work with. The programme will last from 12-16 weeks, and will involve training, one to one support, and fieldwork exercises. The Programme Overview... Set up meeting We will sit down with you to talk about your organisation, what it needs, and the current skills to be developed and the young people you want to work with. The aim will be to set out the objectives of the work, and the skills that need developing. Programme design We will then go away and design a tailored programme of support for your organisation. This will set out exactly what is needed such as training, mentoring, validation, report formats, infographics, and fieldwork support. Delivering training programmes Next, we will deliver a series of workshops with the young people who will be conducting the peer research, introducing them to peer research, and designing the research questions and methodology. They will be then supported with the appropriate training. One to one support Young people and staff can meet with us one to one to work on the design or get support with their role ahead of the fieldwork stage. We are happy to meet over the course of the programme to troubleshoot. Fieldwork support Once the young people begin fieldwork, we can work with the young people on location to deliver focus groups, support with in-depth interviews, collect surveys, or run a session. Collate feedback and data analysis
