What
This training will cover the links between autism and eating disorders. This Training is ONLINE for Professionals working with autistic/ADHD adults in NWL.
What the session will cover:
- Presentation of eating disorders in autism/neurodivergence, including anorexia nervosa/bulimia nervosa & Avoidant and Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID)
- Prevalence and aetiology or causal factors
- Current evidence-based treatment approaches
- Good practice examples
Information will be presented using a combination of lived experience/case studies, research and clinical practice evidence.
