What
Why should you become a police cadet?
First and foremost, because it's really good fun. But there are lots of other reasons:
- Make new friends: Become part of our policing family and build friendships that will last a lifetime
- Learn new skills: Build your confidence, team work and leadership abilities whilst you learn new skills
- Become a community champion: Help your community by taking part in policing operations and crime prevention initiatives
- Complete your Duke of Edinburgh's Award: An award universally recognised by employers that sets you apart
- Enhance your CV: Whether you want to go to college or university or go straight into work, you'll have a unique experience to talk about in interviews
If you're aged 10 to 18 years old and are looking for a fun, challenging, and exciting way to gain new skills and help your community, join the volunteer police cadets. Be The Change.
