What
Join us for Websites Unlocked Digital Drop-in Clinic, an informal online session where you can get on-the-spot advice about your website.
Websites are essential for effective digital comms, but they can often be challenging to manage! During this Digital Drop-In clinic, you’ll connect with a small group of charities who are facing similar issues, so you can tackle them together.
Working with an expert volunteer, you’ll have a chance to ask your most pressing questions and get guidance from someone who knows their stuff when it comes to websites. To help us match you with the right volunteer, during registration you can choose from one of the following themes:
- Data, audiences and insights – how can charities learn more about their audience through their website? This could include defining key measurement analytics and using them to shape your content strategy.
- Improving websites with digital tools – how can charities interact with their beneficiaries and volunteers more efficiently? This could include adopting low-cost software or plug-ins or deciding between bespoke or off-the-shelf solutions, to improve digital services for both beneficiaries and staff.
- Cybersecurity – keeping charity websites safe. Sharing best practices for protecting networks, data and applications from theft or damage.
- Accessibility – Ensuring charity websites are accessible to all. What tools and techniques should be adopted to ensure everyone gets the support they need?
- Content strategy – How can we plan and create web content that will have an impact? This could be for a specific campaign, or perhaps a new strategy for blog content.
- Copywriting – what makes persuasive web copy that will drive action? This could include pages for fundraising, volunteer recruitment or driving membership sign-ups.
- Testimonials and case studies – what is the best way to use and present online case studies of the people you support or your volunteers? We’ll cover best practice for quotes, images and calls to action!
