About Project

We can support you in balancing your life with your caring role through:

  • 1:1 Tailored support
  • Supporting your education
  • Support you in finding employment, work experience, apprenticeships etc
  • Workshops on topics such as: CV writing, money management, interview skills and mental wellbeing
  • Benefits advice
  • Counselling
  • Regular meet ups, training sessions and and social events
  • Get to know other people who are in a similar situation

Excluding: School Holidays & Bank Holidays


A young adult carer is someone aged between 18 -25 and who cares for a friend or family member who, due to illness, disability, a mental health problem or an addiction and cannot cope without their support. If you live or attend education in Harrow and think you may be a young carer get in touch with the young carers team to speak with one of our youth workers to see how we are able to support you.
