What

In conjunction with John Lyon’s Charity, a NEW VENUE BANK has been created.

This is a free and confidential multi-channel advice service for young people’s charities based in the eight North and West London boroughs funded by JLC, but more importantly for Harrow to make better use of local spaces.

The Venue Bank provides the opportunity to purchase, at competitive rates, local space to deliver in. The spaces on offer can come from a variety of organisations – third sector, public, local business, and faith groups. This a great opportunity to support local organisations in-kind, whilst maximising community contributions.

The system is simple to use and helps overcome a number of barriers that currently make it difficult for organisations to find space including:

• A directory of space with clear listing of availability

• Clear listings of what each space can accommodate

• Online bookings and acceptance

• Online payments

In our meetings and conversations with you over the past few years, you highlighted that you have space, either free or at a reduced cost, that you would be happy for other members to use.
