About Project

Are you passionate about performing, writing or directing theatre?

Our weekly Youth Theatre is your chance to develop professional skills in theatrical performance and wider skills including technical theatre, props, set design; whilst working with specialists and visiting professionals from the industry! Each term we work on a new project devised by the group. There is also the chance to participate in Arts Award qualifications at different levels throughout the year.

Each week we start with games and warm up activities. We work in both small and large groups to create scenes and stories, showing each other what’s been created at the end of the class. Each term we will showcase your new skills to family and friends, and in the summer, you will work with a director to devise a whole show from scratch, performing in public at HAC as part of our main programme! You will gain confidence and skills in performing, technical theatre, alongside being a part of the wider community at Harrow Arts Centre with exclusive opportunities.
