We are a well-established charity in Harrow and we are interested in people who share for enabling greater opportunities for children and young people with special needs and their families. Our children and young people have a range of emotional, social, behavioural and learning difficulties and disabilities including Autism, and ADHD.

Do you have experienced in early years, teaching, youth work or children’s and young people’s care?

We deliver inclusive and specialist services. Activities take place in different settings including our centre, local community facilities and include early morning, day time, after school, evenings, and weekend sessions school holidays.

Our ethos of inclusion, consultation, choice and partnership with children, young people and their families is at the heart of what we do. We deliver high quality fun, safe and nurturing experiences, where we support each child/young person to achieve their desired outcomes. We work both on group and 1:1 basis.

We are currently recruiting for:

  • Sessional Workers:

We are looking for applicants who:

  • Have experience of supporting children and young people with disabilities and complex needs but we will also consider applicants who are willing to develop their knowledge and skills.
  • Are able to work on a flexible basis, early mornings, evenings, weekends, term time or in holidays.
  • A clean driving license and ability to drive a mini bus is desirable.
  • We have a particular need to attract male applicants to increase our male role models for teenage boys.

The salary scale for Sessional Workers is £8.93 unqualified and £9.48 for qualified. (NVQ3 in Early Years, Education, Play and Youth or Childcare) and pay is based on the hours worked and includes annual leave payment.
