Supporting the Arts in Harrow

What's the aim of this funding?

Supporting the Arts in Harrow Funding Programme wants to empower children and young people not currently involved in performing arts, granting them the voice and influence to shape local arts provision. Thanks to the generous support from John Lyon's Charity and Harrow School, in collaboration with Voluntary Action Harrow (VAH) networks and the Harrow Culture Forum, the vision of this second round of funding is to engage children and young people in Harrow in arts and culture.

Objectives of the funding:

  1. Boost engagement in performing arts within schools and communities across Harrow.
  2. Reach out to children and young people who are currently least involved in performing arts.
  3. Empower non-participants in the arts to contribute to local arts development.
  4. Showcase and support arts initiatives that celebrate Harrow's diverse culture and heritage.
  5. Establish locally driven networks for arts organizations, in collaboration with the Harrow Culture Forum.
