YHF Fundraising Manager

Young Harrow Foundation is an innovative charity with big ambitions to make a significant difference to the local, children and young people focused charities in our current membership of 86. A main part of our offer to our members is to support them in new funding opportunities, through support and training, to produce compelling applications both independently and in partnership. In the last 2 years we have been successful in securing over £2 million pounds of funding into Harrow to see an increase in the number and range of Young People services delivered through our Members.

Young Harrow Foundation is extremely fortunate to have John Lyon's Charity, who had the vision to set-up a network of Young People’s Foundation’s across North West London, as a key partner who supports us to grow meaningful relationships with a range of different London Funders and key stakeholders. The successful candidate for this role should have the following 3 attributes: proven experience of writing successful, quality applications to Trusts and Foundations, sound experience and knowledge of the charitable and in particular small and medium sized organisations and last but not least, a hunger to not just ‘do’ fundraising but a passion to work with funders to create better, more effective, less time intense ways to fund the most vital services in the London borough Harrow.

Young Harrow Foundation pride ourselves on the ability of working as a collective, cohesive team and to create a conducive, flexible working environment with working arrangements that suit both employer and employee. If you are the right person for our organisation then working for, and with us, will be a challenging but enjoyable experience

  • Work closely with small and medium sized members to develop their fundraising strategies, case for support and ‘application readiness’
