Harrow Change Makers 2025 Report

This report reflects the powerful stories of resilience, creativity, and connection made possible by the outstanding work of our local delivery organisations, and by the unwavering support of our funding partners.

It is a real delight to share with you the 2025 Harrow Change Makers (HCM) Impact Report, which celebrates the extraordinary impact made possible through our collective effort. Together, we have supported more innovative, community-led projects tackling some of Harrow’s most pressing challenges. Importantly, this year also marks a major step forward in how we measure our collective impact.

Through this programme, we have proudly funded 17 local organisations with a total of £195,503 supporting 1,198 young people in Harrow.

Building on the success of Harrow Change Makers Year 1 last year, the second round of funding strengthened its impact across Harrow’s youth services sector. The programme supported 17 organisations to deliver targeted and diverse interventions for children, young people, and families. With a total of £195,503 in grants awarded, the service delivery organisations generated over 40,500 hours of meaningful engagement and directly reached 1,198 young people, demonstrating measurable and sustained benefits for the local community.

All service delivery organisations took a holistic view of young people's needs across their interventions, recognising that challenges rarely exist in isolation. Every grant addressed the “Emotional and mental health” of beneficiaries and made a significant impact in this area, reflecting the centrality of wellbeing support across all delivery models. Of the completed grants, 75% addressed “Safety”, 63% focused on “Physical activity”, and 38% responded to “Poverty” related concerns from HAY Harrow. The infographic on the following page illustrates the key concern areas and highlights the service delivery organisations addressing each priority.

None of this would have been possible without the vital and generous support of our funders. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our amazing supporters:

  • Harrow Borough-Based Partnership
  • Harrow Council
  • Harrow School
  • John Lyon’s Charity
