Greater London Youth Foundation

The GLYF runs different projects for young people. The projects we have run since starting in 2016 have included drama workshops, English Langauge for new arrivals and refugees, a theatre group, debating and podcasts. We have also carried out assignments for Harrow Carers, Near Neighborhoods and Harrow Giving.

We are on Zoom and have our DEBATING ON ZOOM workshop every Wednesday. We also run debating sessions in schools - DEBATING IN (PRIMARY) SCHOOLS.

All our programmes are fun, and all are educational as well.

One plan that we are super excited about is our new podcast series, coming in the summer/autumn - ADULT LIFE SKILLS FOR CHILDREN. You can still find our It is GREATER LONDON YOUTH FOUNDATION RESENTS THE MIKEY BHARJ SHOW. We interview ordinary young people who are doing extraordinary, albeit possible, things in their lives and the community and having a bit of a laugh, too, because Mikey is an experienced Stand-Up comedian and has a small role in the last Terminator film (2019).
