Harrow Level Up Programme

Young Harrow Foundation has been funded through Propel as part of a North West London initiative in partnership with other YPF’s to enhance the children and young people’s workforce, increase career aspirations and professional development.

Through this funded programme, YHF can offer our Members and Associate Members, who work directly with children and young people in Harrow - a range of networking opportunities, specialist training and qualifications.

The programme is open to all Members and Associate Members, but it is primarily designed to support staff and volunteers who work regularly and directly with children and young people in Harrow. You don’t need to be a qualified youth worker to take part.

We’re especially focused on engaging equity-led organisations in Harrow. As Keisha, our Level Up Youthwork Lead, explains in this short video, 63% of our current members are equity-led – but we’re aiming for 80%.

Taking this course helped me focus on understanding legislation, which is crucial when working with young people, and how to apply it effectively in my role. Now, when a young person seeks my help, I feel confident in knowing the steps to follow without overthinking as I used to before”

Level Up Youth Work Conference

The conference shown in this video brought together Young Harrow Foundation, Young Westminster, Young Camden Foundation, Young K&C, Young Ealing, and Young Hammersmith & Fulham - proving the power of working together.
