What's Level Up Youth Work?

Level Up Youth work is a training and development programme to fund both general training and youth work qualifications over the next three years. The programme is free for YHF members working directly with children and young people in Northwest London.

Harrow Youth Work Forum

The Youth Work Forums are a space to connect with colleagues from organisations across the Young Harrow Foundation and Northwest London community and share what training and qualifications you need.

The forums are quarterly meet-ups for front-line staff working directly with children and young people. This forum is predominantly for those working on the ground with children and young people but if you are a CEO and a practitioner, you are welcome to attend.

The next Forum will be on Thursday the 10th of October 2024, in Victoria Hall, from 10 am to 1 pm.

Level Up Youth Work has helped me find my footing in this sector. I've connected with other youth workers and shared any work dilemmas with the group. I am also doing the Level 2 Youth Work Qualification which it would not have happened without attending the Level Up Forums.

Attend the Forums

We have quarterly meet-ups (May, July, October 2024 and January 2025) for front-line staff working directly with children and young people. Find out when the next forum is.

  • Do I need to pay for the training offered through the programme?

    The Level Up programme offers FREE training and development opportunities over the next three years for all those working directly with children and young people in Northwest London. Join today.

  • Can I access all training opportunities within the partnership?

    Yes, you can access all Level Up training here. Have a look and find an Enquire Now button on each opportunity. We also have other opportunities for the voluntary sector on our website.

  • How do I sign up?

    Fill out a short form online to join the programme. We will send you regular updates with exclusive training opportunities and events tailored to your needs. Anyone in your organisation can join. Share the news with them and Join here.

  • Can I sign up if I am not yet formally qualified as a youth worker?

    Yes. We recommend you contact us if you have any questions or to come to our next Youth Work Forum to find out more.

  • Can I share this with my team and other people?

    Yes, please. Anyone in your organisation can join the programme but you need to submit individual online forms.

  • Do I need to comint to a minimum number of opportunities?

    You don't need to attend a minimum number of training events but we want to offer opportunities that interest you.
