HAF programme

The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme is for children and young people aged 5-16 years eligible for Free School Meals, benefits related, during the school holidays, that are living or going to school in Harrow.

If the child/young person qualifies for Free School Meals, benefits related, the places are free, offering a range of activities in Harrow, a daily free nutritious meal and in some cases with a specialist SEND provisions. You can get alerts to let you know when HAF camps are available to book.

The report for the Harrow Young Adult Mental Health Partnership pilot offers a comprehensive overview of the outcomes achieved by young people aged 16-25 who engaged with various mental health services. The report also covers a brief evaluation of how the partnership worked in its pilot year and the shared learning for service partners and deliverers.

Life Limiting Behaviour Intervention and Support Programme


The main aim of this pilot was to establish a collaborative network of local projects involved in the advancement of health and saving lives through a range of preventative and specialist programmes around children and young people engaging in life limiting behaviours.

Holiday, Activities and Food (HAF) Programme 2023 | Mid-year report


In total, we distributed over £467,000 in direct grants for the HAF Easter and Summer 2023 programme. Grants were awarded to 23 organisations offering a wide range of opportunities right across Harrow targeting a diverse range of children and young people, including Romanian, Iranian, Afghan and Tamil communities.
