We began our journey with the support of John Lyon's Charity, which backed a new kind of local support model.
The Young Harrow Foundation was formed with Dan Burke as CEO. In those early years, Young Harrow Foundation's team spent most of their time listening, meeting with local organisations, building trust, and shaping what became our three pillars: funding, development, and advocacy.
Partnerships have been at the heart of everything since. Working with Harrow Council and leaders, including Alex Dewsnap, Shumailla Dar, MBA, CMgr FCMI, and Priya Ganatra, we unlocked new funding for local organisations and launched programmes.
