Nationwide Building Society – Community Grants

Grants are available to registered charities in the UK working in the areas of arts and heritage, education, environment, health, or social and economic disadvantage.

New funding to help Schools open their sports facilities. The government money will help more children and young people be physically active during evenings and weekends.

The Woodward Charitable Trust is a grant-making trust. Woodward favours charities which make good use of volunteers and encourage past and current users to participate. The trustees prefer to fund small to medium-sized charities with an income of less than £300,000 where small grants can have more impact. They fund core costs only.
Applications for the general grant round opened on 18th May 2020. Please note we have recently moved our application form online. The current deadline for receipt of applications for this round is 31st July 2020.
