Empowering Youth in Harrow Through Education
A UK charity focused on empowering individuals affected by crises around the world and in the UK, particularly in Harrow. We re-integrate them into society by creating sustainable and durable solutions, tackling poverty through innovative ideas, and harnessing local infrastructure and resources. With the current presence of technology and the Internet, we find solutions that help individuals become self-sufficient and financially independent.
Our Team BMF’s trustees and volunteers are a diverse group of individuals with strong ethics and unique backgrounds. They are passionate about making a difference and helping people in need. Our team hails from different corners of the world, making us truly international.
What We Do
Educational Support for Young People in Harrow We provide comprehensive educational support, including academic tutoring, peer mentoring, coaching, guidance, and career advice to young people aged 5 to 25. Our past projects in South Harrow Grange Farm estate have made a significant impact, and we are looking to work with more estates in Harrow to reach more young people and help them have a brighter future.
Teaching Children and Boosting Confidence Our teaching initiatives aim to engage children and boost their confidence. By equipping them with essential skills such as English and IT, we prepare them for a brighter future.
Training Young Adults in the UK We provide free training to young adults aged 16 to 24 to improve their employability during these tough times in the UK. BMF also offers coaching and assistance in finding permanent employment with their newly acquired skills.
Replicating Projects Globally We extend our efforts globally by providing free training and IT centers to rural areas. This allows local communities to embrace the Internet as a training tool and a gateway for learning.
Empowering People with Disabilities Our high-quality training programs for people with mobility issues have been successful. For instance, beneficiaries of the Phoenix project built jaffnalife.com, a local business directory for Jaffna, Sri Lanka.
Identifying and Supporting Outstanding Children We identify children with exceptional potential and provide them with the right level of education, encouragement, and guidance. This support ensures they become strong pillars of their society as adults.
Bringing Dreams Within Reach We assess and evaluate all beneficiaries’ skills and talents, offering guidance and counseling to help them achieve their dreams.
Our Vision for Harrow
We are committed to empowering young people in Harrow through education. By expanding our projects to more estates, we aim to reach a larger number of young individuals, providing them with the tools and support they need for a successful and fulfilling future.
