EPIC was founded in 2019 by our co-director, Savan Shah, who envisioned using Hip Hop to transform lives. Since then, Savan and fellow co-director Vishal have developed a core approach built around three pillars: Empowerment, Education, and Engagement. This model underpins all EPIC projects and services.

We use urban arts, culture, and education as tools to help individuals and communities become more self-aware, build resilience, improve mental well-being, and feel more connected to society.

By planting these practical and creative ‘seeds’—whether through expressive arts or alternative approaches—we aim to inspire personal growth and self-discovery in every individual we work with.

EPIC focuses its work across three key boroughs: Brent, Barking & Dagenham, and Harrow.

We are also a registered NGO with international reach. Through EPIC Earth, we align our mission with global initiatives, delivering impactful projects both in the UK and abroad.
