About Organisation

Harrow St Mary's Cricket Club was founded in 1881 as the cricket team of the landmark St Mary's Church on the summit of Harrow-on-the-Hill and played for the first few years on the lower slopes of the hill.

In 1885 the club moved down the hill to a piece of land now known as Harrow Recreation Ground, where it remained until 2009/10 when it moved to a new ground in Headstone Lane, where it is situated in one of the rare pictureque settings in Harrow, surrounded on three sides by farmland.

We have playing members (male and female) from the age of 5 to the age of and social members, who come along to support all of our teams, young and old.

Our juniors play in leagues, starting from U9s softball, then progressing playing hardball cricket through the age groups to U17s. We also run U19s, U21s, four Saturday senior teams, one Sunday and have two female teams, some of who represent Middx. Our Head Coach is Ravi Patel, ex HSMCC junior, Middx County and England Lions player.

We have a 3-bay practice nets and two artificial pitches.

We are a multi-ethnic club, made up from many countries and have a reputation for taking our time to develop our players, with the aim of our juniors going on to play for our seniot teams.

New members are alway welome and we offer a free 'come along and try it' session.
