The Hive Foundation (Barnet Football Club)

The Hive Foundation works alongside Barnet Football Club and London Bees to deliver positive lifelong activities to local schools, residents and young people within our local communities of Barnet, Harrow and the surrounding counties. The Hive Foundation provides pathways into sport including coaching, refereeing and playing. We increase and promote the participation and awareness of women’s sport and provide more competitive sports opportunities for people within our local communities.

OUR OBJECTIVES

Through the power of football, we aim to deliver these objectives:

• Participation. To promote community participation in healthy recreation by providing facilities to participate with the objective of improving participants health.
• Inclusion. To provide and assist in providing facilities for sport and recreation for people in need. Ensuring equal opportunity no matter their age, gender, religion, disability or social-economic status. We aim to work with all members of the community with the objective of improving their conditions of life.
• Education. To advance the education of children and young people using the power of football.
