Once you have registered your interest one of our Business Accelerator advisers will arrange to meet with you to find out more about your business and how the program could potentially help you. At this stage we would encourage you to share your passion and reasons for why you should be a part of the programme. (Please also be prepared to provide us with evidence of trading and that you live in the borough). After an internal review process to determine your suitability we will let you know if you are to join one of the 4 cohorts of the program. The Accelerator programme will run for 6 weeks and include: ● A 1/2 day 1:1 Business Analysis and Strategy meeting ● Business Skills Workshops ● Digital Skills Workshops ● Peer to Peer Coaching ● Mentoring ● Networking (optional) Business Strategy Review meeting: A 1/2 day intensive business and organisational strategy review meeting will take place with one of our specialist advisers. We will help you with identifying your needs, what’s not working and recommend changes but more importantly help develop an action plan for implementation Business Skills Training: These 1/2 day workshops are designed to develop those key skills identified in your initial meeting(s). Topics include: - Driving business growth and building better teams - Protecting your business – managing legal, financial risk, - Getting more for less – lean principles of small businesses, Digital Skills Training: No matter what your business, chances are most of your customers are using the internet. Our primary focus initially will be on: - creating your social media strategy - you using social media tools effectively - monitoring your output Peer to Peer Coaching: How often have we heard about learning from other people’s mistakes and experiences. True for people, true for business. Two facilitated sessions will give cohort participants the opportunity to share mutual problems and get group solutions. Expert Monitoring: We will do this through Mentoring. You will be matched with a Business Mentor/Coach who will offer you a minimum of 4 x 1 hour sessions of support to ensure that you remain on track and implement your action plan Networking Events: There will be plenty of opportunities to meet with entrepreneurs from previous or future cohorts as well as the wider Harrow business community. You will expand your business network that in the future will create new business collaborations and clients. Cohort 1: 14th October 2019 to 24th November 2019 Cohort 2: 17th February 2020 to 29th March 2020 Cohort 3: 1st June 2020 to 12th July 2020 Cohort 4: 5th October 2020 to 15th November 2020 It takes you to stay ahead of the curve.
