What

My Yard are looking for kids aged 11-15 to give the opportunity to prove to themselves and society who they really are and can be! We are creating a space where a group of us can get together, unite and build a community with a strong network system.

We are offering 15 spaces for young people to be apart of the changemaker programme. A personalised scheme that understands that one size does not fit all.

The project includes focus on:

• Education (Free tuition and mentoring on any chosen subject area as well as, access to free short online courses for work experience/CV building.
• Well-being (Physical activities - yoga, hiking, rock climbing, swimming and more)
• Community (Volunteering, Litterpicking, overall giving back to the community)

We are looking for committed and dedicated young people to join the changemaker programme who will then go on to achieve a changemaker award as well as other rewards throughout the scheme!

Our main goal is for this to be a collaboration between the mentor and mentee and to help you reach your best self!

While the council reconstruct and build homes, we are building communities.
