Objectives of Fund
The aim of the Foundation is to help small, non-religious charities to serve severely disadvantaged children anywhere in the world. In recent years, the Foundation has provided grants to organisations working on youth projects in the following categories:
- Education.
- Health and wellbeing.
- Holidays.
- Sport, play and leisure.
- Support, care and respite.
Value Notes
Funding is at the discretion of the Trustees.
As an example, in 2022 the Trustees received 337 new grant applications, of which 19 were approved with a total of £474,500 awarded.
Who Can Apply
Registered charities working to improve the lives of children and young people living in the UK and throughout the world may apply.
To be eligible, charities should be financially sound and should not be receiving funding from statutory bodies.

UK-wide and international
Restrictions
Funding is not available for religious charities.
Eligible Expenditure
The funding is for the benefit of children who are seriously or terminally ill, disadvantaged, underprivileged or have special needs.
How To Apply
The application process is ongoing and interested applicants may apply at any time.
Applications should be made in writing to the Trustees detailing the specific purpose for which the grant is requested and should be accompanied by a copy of the organisation's latest report and accounts.
