What
Our theatre project will happen during term time, a 1.5-hour session every week for 8 weeks. We're crafting each project to match the vibes of each group, working hand-in-hand with partner schools' staff, Synergy's artistic director, a cool professional practitioner, and a down-to-earth ex-prisoner facilitator.
Young people will watch the play, dive into cool workshops, and then it's time to get creative. Together with the pro practitioner and our ex-prisoner buddy, they create a masterpiece to show off to their peers and teachers in the last week.
We will also have time to chat about how it all went, get some feedback, and make sure everyone's feeling good. Plus, we guide our participants towards more fantastic artistic adventures, like our Young Studio. It's all about offering even more creative courses and paths to jobs in the arts.
