What

Srishti Yuva Culture is offering after-school workshops aimed at young people aged 5-25 (up to 30 years for those of SEND) living in Harrow.

Free sessions are offered in the following days:

For children every Wednesdays starting from 17 April 2024 to July 24 April 2024, excluding 24 April, 22 May and 26 June.

For adults every Wednesdays starting from 10 April 2024 to 17 July 2024, excluding 24 April, 19 June and 26 June.

We will be developing a well-rounded Classical Indian dance workshops content focusing on various aspects including arm movements and footwork sequences devised to improve cognitive skills, balance, flexibility, hand/eye coordination and spatial awareness whilst hand gestures and facial expression sequences will facilitate participants finding a means of expressing their inner self and releasing emotion.

The workshops will also incorporate yoga, meditation, and mindfulness to promote mental health and overall well-being, building resilience to carry throughout their life. These techniques can equip young people with essential tools to cope with stress and challenges in their lives.
