What

On 4th July 2023, Harrow's schools (primary, secondary, colleges), the local voluntary sector, and public sector services will come together to improve pathways, access and awareness of support services for children & young people in Harrow, with a spotlight on mental health and emotional wellbeing.

This event follows the successful Children & Young People Conference in 2022, hosted by Young Harrow Foundation. This year, we are joined by the Anna Freud Centre (the new Harrow Horizon’s delivery partner), who will be key in working alongside Harrow Council, NHS and local Partners with the implementation of the THRIVE Framework. This event is an opportunity to hear more about it and to help shape what the THRIVE framework will look like for Harrow and for your day-to-day work.

We are excited to welcome our Keynote Speaker – Dr Peter Fuggle, The Anna Freud Centre and Co-author of the THRIVE framework, to talk through the principles underlying the framework. Read more about him and the THRIVE Framework HERE

What will the event include?

  • There will be structured networking opportunities to understand mental health and emotional health pathways and services
  • Youth Mental Health Workshops
  • THRIVE Framework sessions
  • Launch of the results of the 2023 youth needs analysis in Harrow
