What
Prospects aim to provide Schools and Colleges with inspirational and innovative high-quality career guidance that has been directed by the new Careers Strategy and has the Gatsby Benchmarks at the heart of it.
The offer for Schools and Colleges for 2022/23 is outlined below - we would be happy to discuss bespoke requirements with you:
- One-to-one careers guidance interviews provided by a qualified career professional
- Small group careers interviews
- Online mock interviews (college and job interviews)
- Pearson’s accredited employability programme. E.g. EmployableME, motivated and empowered (delivered to a maximum of 12 young people)
- Industry insight days
- Speed networking with employers
- Careers Fair
- CPD available for staff inset days
- Information and advice for parents at open evenings/parent’s events
- Group work sessions
Areas can include:
- Occupation industry information
- Work experience preparation and debriefing
- Occupational choice; progression routes
- Targeted career talks, e.g. alternative post-16 routes
- Social media and job search
- CV Writing – Paper-based or introduction to digital CVs
- Apprenticeships myth buster
- Introduction to work experience
- College/Schools Applications.
