What

Our new project The Bounce Drama Project: Harrow is offering Primary Schools the opportunity to have a FREE drama and PSHE programme for years 2,3, and 4.

This programme is being funded by CNWL as part of the Harrow Mental Health Partnership Offer for Young People.

The offer:

  • PSHE Sessions will be delivered by Fresh Arts C.I.C’s highly trained team over the course of 20 weeks.
  • Schools can choose a blend of whole class groups and smaller targeted groups of children who have been selected by the school (these may be more accessible sessions for for learners with SEND or other challenges)
  • The aim of the project is to deliver PSHE sessions using drama and the arts. Through the programme we aim to build children’s vocabulary around wellbeing and ability to express themselves, confidence, self-esteem, resilience and problem-solving skills.
  • Through the programme we aim to empower children with opportunities to build a toolbox of skills to support their wellbeing.

The commitment from partnering schools:

  • We want to be as mindful and efficient with your time as possible - we know it is limited!
  • We do require a member of staff to be present in the weekly sessions (this could be a teacher or a TA)
  • We would require a line of communication with a school lead to assess the impact of the programme and developing needs of students
