What

Book free peer-led mental wellbeing workshops for 8-25 year olds in schools, colleges and youth services.

At Mind in Harrow we work with a team of young volunteers (aged 18-30) to deliver Wellbeing Workshops to 8-25 year olds.

Our Wellbeing Workshops aim to raise awareness about mental health and we focus on sharing techniques to build young people's resilience and self-esteem. Our inspiring volunteers build on their personal experiences to make the sessions relatable and impactful. We will tailor our workshops to the needs of the setting and young people on the topics of:

  • The 5 Ways to Wellbeing
  • Supporting others
  • Exam stress & anxiety
  • Confidence & self-image
  • Drugs, alcohol & wellbeing
  • Starting secondary school
  • Finding work and unemployment

A team of lived-experience volunteers will draw on their personal experiences with mental health challenges to deliver the sessions.

For more information, please contact us at headsup@mindinharrow.org.uk

We deliver workshops and assemblies and usually bring all required materials for activities.

Details are agreed on depending on the setting, age, and number of young people.
