About Project

At Mind in Harrow we work with a team of young volunteers (aged 18-30) to deliver Wellbeing Workshops (plus assemblies and lessons) to 8-15 year olds.

Our Wellbeing Workshops aim to raise awareness about mental health and we focus on sharing techniques to build young people's resilience and self-esteem. Our inspiring volunteers build on their personal experiences to make the sessions relatable and impactful. We will tailor our workshops to the needs of the setting and young people on the topics of:

  • General mental well-being awareness
  • Stress and anxiety
  • Sleep hygiene
  • Unemployment
  • Substance misuse and wellbeing
  • Other topics as requested within reason

A team of lived-experience volunteers will draw on their personal experiences with mental health challenges to deliver the sessions. For more information, please contact Molly Lee at headsup@mindinharrow.org.uk
