Find free and affordable spaces across Harrow. These include meeting rooms, training spaces, workshop rooms, office space, sports halls, community centres and event venues.

Spaces can be used for youth sessions, mentoring programmes, staff meetings, trustee away days, training, community events, holiday activities and partnership meetings, etc.

Get tailored guidance to strengthen your fundraising strategy, diversify income streams, and build long-term sustainability. We’ll help identify relevant grants and provide expert feedback on your applications.

Apply for small grants throughout the year, each with different focus areas and funding amounts. Members receive email updates when applications open.

    Fatima leads our impact reporting on grants, offering valuable support with impact measurement and monitoring tools. She helps members effectively demonstrate the positive difference their work makes for the children and young people of Harrow.

    Hannah is our administrator, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. While not outward-facing, she plays a crucial role in directing queries to the right team members and ensuring grant payments are processed promptly.


Partnerships and Connections

We’re committed to fostering new partnerships and connections for our members, linking you with other members, organizations, and key local stakeholders, including schools, the NHS, and the London Borough of Harrow.

As part of our ‘Partnership’ offer, you’ll gain access to:

🔹 Promotion and visibility. Get a profile on our website and showcase your activities, resources, training, vacancies, school offers, and venues—over 70K users visited our site last year. Through the Children's University Programme we’ll also help connect your offerings to local primary schools, encouraging more young people to engage with your services.

🔹 Support and Advocacy. We’ll help you promote your offer to children and young people, schools, the NHS, Harrow Council, and the Metropolitan Police. We’ll also advocate on your behalf with key partners, particularly Harrow Council.

🔹 Guidance and Networking. Receive guidance and advice on Youth Voice Projects and access our annual events, such as the Schools Conference and Family Hub Workshops. We can also assist you in finding a venue for your activities.

    Anthea joined the Young Harrow Foundation in April 2025 as Communications Manager, bringing her background in media, content strategy, and advocacy to the team. An activist at heart, she is passionate about social change and driven by a commitment to equity, youth voice, and community-led impact.

    She leads on communications, branding and digital engagement to amplify underrepresented voices and strengthen community connection.

Training and Development Opportunities

We support our members' growth and development, helping to create a more efficient and sustainable youth voluntary sector in Harrow.

As part of our ‘Develop’ offer, you’ll get access to:

🔹 The Level Up Youth Work Programme supports your growth with funded training, youth work qualifications, and networking opportunities.

🔹 Monthly Surgery. Access our monthly Member Support Surgeries to help you navigate challenges, seize opportunities, and maximise available support.

🔹 An Annual Membership Review Meeting – A dedicated session where we reflect on your organisation’s progress, discuss challenges and opportunities and explore ways we can support your future growth.

🔹 Funded and Free Training and Development Opportunities. Explore a range of training workshops, leadership development programs, and skill-building sessions.

We support charities with an annual turnover of less than £1 million as Full MEMBERS, and those with over £1 million as Associate Members, all of whom work directly with children and young people in Harrow. Additionally, we collaborate with schools, strategic partners, practitioners, youth workers, and local organisations across Harrow.
