This last year has been tough. For some more than others. Fears and worries have crept into our daily routines. But there are some things you shouldn’t have to worry about. Like feeding your child. That is why Harrow are running the Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF) over the Easter holidays. Local organisations across Harrow are putting on free catered holiday activities for your kids to get involved with.

Harrow partnership have a questionnaire that is designed to help us identify if any of the roles in your organisation should be prioritised for a Covid-19 vaccination.

With funding from the Department for Education we will be able to offer funding to organisations wishing to deliver vital programmes for school age children aged 5-16 years old, during the Easter, Summer and Christmas holidays in 2021.

We are asking all schools and colleges across Harrow to run this during a tutor time during April and May 2021. So far around half of all schools and colleges have signed up.

This webinar focused on what has been happening over the Covid 19 lockdown period around young people being out and about including gang and youth violence incidents. With everything indicating a spike in the coming weeks we need to consider ways of engaging with young people, ensuing detached work can take place safely and effectively and how funders can support new ideas and changes to provision.

As part of Mental Health Week we will be looking at trends in what we are seeing around the mental health needs of young people during the Covid 19 lockdown. Professionals will share examples of what’s working well, how they are engaging with young people in need of support and sharing practical ideas and coping mechanisms which can be used by anyone working with young people.
