Highlights

Harrow Change Makers Grant

We are delighted to bring you this excellent funding opportunity through our newly established partnership of funders known as HARROW CHANGE MAKERS.

The grant is for programmes that relate to at least one of the four thematic need areas identified in the most recent HAY Harrow analysis. These include: Poverty; Safety; Emotional Health; Physical Health.
  • Small Grants of up to £5,000 for both new and innovative projects or pilot work.
  • Large Grants of up to £15,000 for larger, more targeted or specialist programmes (Proven track record of delivering against your chosen thematic area)
Deadline is Monday 31st of July at noon. Apply here

Funding and training

YHF Youth Workers Training Forum - 12th July

Are you working directly with children and young people in Harrow? Are you seeking training support for specific areas of your work? Are you a qualified youth worker looking to take the next steps or perhaps not yet formally qualified?

This forum is predominantly for those working on the ground with children and young people but if you are a CEO and a practitioner, you are welcome to attend. Register here.

Million Hours Fund - Deadline 14 Aug 2023

Up to £3 mill is available to award applicants for projects that will support young people primarily aged 11 to 18 (and up to 25 for young people with special educational needs and disabilities) starting during the 2023 school summer holidays.

This funding will support a range of youth services offering a variety of positive activities for young people in eligible wards with the highest reported numbers of antisocial behaviour incidents. Learn more.

Young Harrow Foundation and Voluntary Action Harrow want to build on the success of last year by not only having a range of funders come along to talk about new funding opportunities but to offer more practical workshops on writing applications, programme design, and the importance of monitoring, impact and evaluation. HAY Harrow

We are happy to share with you the latest Summary Report for HAY Harrow - the borough's wellbeing survey for children and young people aged 9-18. Nearly 7,000 young people in Harrow told us how they were doing between Nov'22 to March'23. Four key themes have emerged, with concerning data around Poverty, Safety; Emotional Wellbeing, and Physical Health.

YHF Impact reports
Here is the latest Build Back Better Impact Report that awarded over £123K between 2022 and 2023 to 21 organisations to improve the lives of children and young people in Harrow.
